Sudoku Friends offers the classic Sudoku game in both solo and cooperative modes, allowing players to enjoy challenging puzzles individually or collaborate with friends to conquer the board together. To embark on a cooperative session, simply click the "Play With Friends" button on the main screen, enter your username, generate a new game code, and share it with your companions. Alternatively, you can input an existing code to join an ongoing game. Once connected, you and your friends can engage in collective problem-solving to complete the game successfully.

For those who prefer solitary play, Sudoku Friends presents an option to start a solo game. By selecting "New Game" from the main menu, players can pick their preferred difficulty level—easy, medium, or hard—and begin their Sudoku experience. Adhering to the traditional Sudoku rules where every row, column, and 3x3 square must contain numbers 1-9 without repetitions, players tap on cells to select them and choose numbers from the bottom toolbar to fill in cells. An intuitive pencil mode allows for note-taking within cells to aid strategic decision-making. Should a mistake occur, an erase mode is available to rectify moves while ensuring the preservation of original board numbers. To undo accidental inputs or deletions, users can leverage the undo button. Feeling stuck? The Hint feature provides a single correct cell entry to assist players in progressing.
